About The Position

The BMO Capital Markets Launch internship program is a 5-week opportunity designed for first-year undergraduate students to gain exposure to various areas within Capital Markets, including Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, and Global Markets. The program focuses on training, mentorship, and networking, culminating in a capstone project presented to senior leaders. Successful interns may receive an offer to return for a second-year internship.

Requirements

• Must be a first-year student at an accredited U.S. College/University.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 required.
• Availability to work full-time from June-July 2025.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a one-week training and orientation program.
• Engage in technical training including finance and accounting courses.
• Receive mentorship from professionals in Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, and Global Markets.
• Attend networking events with senior leadership and business representatives.
• Develop soft skills such as communication, professionalism, and presentation skills.
• Complete a capstone project and present findings to senior leaders.
