The Team Lead at Savannah Vascular Institute is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing the operational efficiency of the clinic. This includes managing patient flow, staffing, and ensuring high levels of customer service. The Team Lead works closely with the Director of Operations to ensure that patients are seen in a timely manner and that the operational workflow of the clinic is maintained effectively. This position requires a proactive approach to managing the clinic's schedule, addressing any issues that arise, and acting as a liaison between patients and physicians. The Team Lead is responsible for supervising clinical staff, providing guidance and training to Medical Assistants (MAs), and ensuring that all clinical protocols are followed. Additionally, the Team Lead is tasked with maintaining communication with the front desk and ultrasound staff to avoid extended wait times and overbooking of appointments. In this role, the Team Lead will also be responsible for handling patient care, including rooming and wound care, and will need to respond to patient triage calls and refill requests promptly. The position requires the completion of necessary patient orders, such as home health and durable medical equipment (DME) requests, and ensuring that all clinical paperwork, including FMLA and disability forms, is completed in a timely manner. The Team Lead will also oversee the maintenance of clinical equipment and inventory management, ensuring that supplies are adequately stocked and that the clinic operates within its yearly budget. Regular reviews of patient satisfaction reports will be conducted to identify areas for improvement in clinical operations.
