About The Position

Blue Man Group is looking for a creative, hands-on Props Technician to help bring our one-of-a-kind show to life. Working with our Props team and other departments, you'll support performances, rehearsals, and maintenance to help deliver the unforgettable experience our audiences love. Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Three (3) years of experience in a professional theatrical environment as a props technician with an in-depth knowledge of theatrical props for large scale productions
Able to work varied shifts to include weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

Run cue tracks and operate show props as directed for performances, artist training, and maintenance
Inspect and maintain show props and related equipment
Update maintenance and inspection records as directed by departmental leadership
Maintain cue track documentation and take part in cue track rotation as directed by departmental leadership
Participate in required safety classes and emergency rescue training
Collaborate on special projects, including building and installing new show props and puppet elements
