About The Position

The Blow Mold Associate is responsible for removing finished products from the molds and trimming excess plastic from the parts. This role involves operating blow mold machines, inspecting products for quality control, and assisting with material and product change procedures. The associate will also prepare boxes for finished products and report any quality or safety issues to supervisors. Additionally, the position requires collaboration with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED, or equivalent work experience.
• At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Time management skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines.
• Dependability and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Operates blow mold machines.
• Removes and cleans excess material from product.
• Inspects product for quality control.
• Weighs parts every 15 minutes or as directed by supervisor.
• Assists with material, color and product change procedures.
• Prepares boxes to put finished product, labels and tapes boxes.
• Identifies and reports quality or safety issues to the appropriate supervisor or department lead or manager.
• Assists in training new blow mold associates.
• Collaborates with other members of the production team to ensure that deadlines are met.
• Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
