About The Position

Admiral Beverage is seeking a Blow Mold Operator responsible for the safe operation of the blow mold machine to produce high-quality beverage bottles. This position requires adherence to safety standards and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The work environment is very loud, with exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, caustic chemicals, and humid or wet conditions. The operator will start and operate machinery to specified standards, inspect operations for conformance to specifications, and perform maintenance on machinery. The role includes performing production rotation, utilizing Value Stream Mapping and Root Cause Analysis, and notifying supervisors of any issues in the bottle blowing process. The operator will also make routine adjustments to machine controls, clean machine parts, and maintain production logs while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Experience in operating machinery, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and procedures.
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance on machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with blow molding machines.
  • Familiarity with Value Stream Mapping and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing role.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate the blow mold machine to produce beverage bottles.
  • Perform all functions of the position while meeting safety standards.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds as required.
  • Start and operate machinery to specified standards.
  • Inspect and evaluate operations to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Perform maintenance on machinery.
  • Adhere to Stat Process Control.
  • Perform production rotation and Single Minute Exchange of Molds.
  • Utilize Value Stream Mapping and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Notify foreman or supervisor of immediate or anticipated problems.
  • Make routine adjustments to machine controls and guides.
  • Perform cleaning of machine parts and surrounding area.
  • Remove jams and stop the machine to prevent injury or damage.
  • Fill out and maintain required production logs and status documentation.
  • Wear and utilize appropriate safety equipment and company uniform.
