Job Summary The Blow Mold Associate is responsible for removing finished products from the molds and trimming excess plastic from the parts. Essential Functions: Operates blow mold machines. Removes and clean excess material from product. Inspects product for quality control. Weighs parts every 15 minutes or as directed by supervisor. Assists with material, color and product change procedures. Prepares boxes to put finished product, labels and tapes boxes. Identifies and reports quality or safety issues to the appropriate supervisor or department lead or manager. Identifies and reports quality or safety issues to the supervisor or department manager. Assist in training new blow mold associates. General Functions: Collaborates with other members of the production team to ensure that deadlines are met, and products are delivered on time. Consistently abides by established safety rules, procedures, and regulations including wearing required safety equipment such as safety shoes and glasses. Maintains a clean and organized work environment. Identifies and reports quality or safety issues to supervisor or manager. Works effectively with co-workers and supervisors, sharing knowledge, resources, and experience to achieve production goals in a timely fashion, while promoting respect, communication, and teamwork. Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
