The Blood Lab Technician is for Radiometer is responsible for a variety of research laboratory tasks and experiments. This position is part of the Research and Development (R D) department located in New Brighton, MN and will be onsite. At Radiometer, our vision is to improve global healthcare with reliable, fast, and easy patient diagnoses. You will be a part of the R D Blood Lab Team and report to the R D Director responsible for testing and laboratory investigations. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Assist with product testing in support of new design verifications, process optimization, technology transfer, and process validation activities. Perform sensor characterization testing using aqueous solutions or whole blood samples; Assist with product testing in support of analysis, trouble-shooting and improvement of existing products. Operate and maintain all reference instruments, identify and correct any problems by consulting manuals or manufacturers technical service representatives. Assist in experiments involving the development of raw material and process specifications.

Requirements

  • BS or equivalent in Biology, Biological Sciences, Laboratory Science or Similar
  • 2+ years of laboratory experience
  • Experience consolidating and analyze test data using PC and spreadsheet programs, maintaining extensive database of test results, reporting test results in writing, electronically, or verbally to appropriate personnel.

Nice To Haves

  • Drafting or updating internal documents such as manufacturing procedures, test procedures, and protocols.
  • Proficient in excel, data analysis
