Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills are required.
• A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.
• DOT certification may be required in some locations, necessitating passing a DOT physical and obtaining a medical certification.
• Physical ability to lift, push, or pull heavy weights, good manual dexterity, and the ability to sit or stand for long periods are required.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications are required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience (CNA, MA, EMT, etc.)
• Prior leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Connect personally with donors and help them understand the impact of their donations.
• Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming environment for volunteer donors.
• Ensure attention to detail to meet blood collection goals and regulatory requirements.
• Drive Red Cross vehicles and assist in setting up and tearing down equipment at donation sites.
