About The Position

Laboratory Blood Bank Supervisor, Fulltime, St Mary’s Hospital, in Athens, GA Position Purpose: Responsible for the daily operation of the Blood Bank Department What you will do: This includes staffing, training, scheduling, supply management and the supervision of testing performed. Responsible for maintaining policy and procedures in accordance with CAP guidelines, and monitoring of quality control practices in the Core Lab. Must also recognize results or problems that require referral to the Pathologist or Laboratory Director. What you will need: Licensure/Certification/Registration: Medical Technologist, ASCP, AMT or NCA Education: B.S. in Medical Technology or Applied Sciences, 5 years’ experience and an alternate method of obtaining MT may be substituted for degree. Requirements

• Medical Technologist, ASCP, AMT or NCA
