About The Position

Provides day to day supervision. Functions as general and technical supervisor as listed in CAP, CLIA, and NJDOHSS Regulations. The supervisor may also perform the duties of a technologist as workload requires.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.
• ASCP Certification Required.
• 3 years of Blood Bank experience required.
• At least 6 months supervisory experience required.
• Progressive Management Experience.
• Knowledge of hospital laboratory practices, including infection control requirements, chemical and biological hazards.
• Knowledge of governmental and regulating policies and standards.
