Supervises technical and clerical personnel in specimen processing, test analysis, and reporting of results. Troubleshoots and problem solves department issues on the off shifts. Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science
- 5 years experience in laboratory science and a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
- ASCP or equivalent certification MLS or MT or equivalent
- Proficient in office application
Responsibilities
- Directs the management of all shifts
- Collaborates with management staff for departmental advancements.
- Directs all problem solving activities on the evening and night shift.
- Performs all testing and related calculations
- Evaluates and reports results.
