About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Blockchain Software Engineer in United States. This role offers the opportunity to design, develop, and scale blockchain-based payment infrastructure used by users worldwide. You will work closely with product teams and smart contract developers to build backend services that interact with multiple blockchain networks. The position emphasizes hands-on development, ownership, and delivering real-world solutions that operate at high scale. You will influence architecture decisions, implement new features quickly, and ensure the performance and reliability of critical systems. The ideal candidate is experienced in Node.js, comfortable with blockchain integrations, and excited by fast-moving, innovative fintech and crypto environments. Requirements

2â10+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong backend development skills.
Hands-on experience with Node.js and modern backend technologies.
Practical experience interacting with blockchains and smart contracts (not just theoretical knowledge).
Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in lean, fast-paced teams.

Nice To Haves

Crypto-curious at a minimum; crypto-native experience is a plus.
Familiarity with fintech, payments infrastructure, or neobanking is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

Build and scale backend services that interface with blockchain infrastructure across multiple chains.
Develop, deploy, and maintain smart contracts and blockchain integrations to support next-generation payments.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape the technical roadmap and drive feature delivery.
Ensure high-performance, scalable, and reliable systems to support millions of users globally.
Participate in architectural decisions, code reviews, and technical discussions to maintain robust system design.
Rapidly iterate on new features in a fast-paced, agile environment while ensuring operational excellence.
