Block Plant Laborer
About The Position
Jones & Sons is looking to hire someone to help in the operations at our Bloomfield, IN, location. Started in 1971, we are a family owned and operated business with locations in Bloomfield, Clinton, Linton, Terre Haute, Vincennes and Washington, IN. Servicing southwest Indiana, our core activities include Ready Mixed Concrete, Block, Brick, Precast Concrete, and Aggregates. Requirements
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Good safety practices and help promote a culture of safety
- Physically fit to bend, push, drag and stretch as the job requires
- Pass criminal background check
- Pass pre-employment and random drug tests
Responsibilities
- Help in the production of concrete blocks
- Help maintain plant yard by stacking, organizing and loading concrete blocks
- Operate forklift to move, organize, and stack concrete blocks
- Run a front-end loader as needed
- Load customer vehicles as needed and keep product clean and organized
- Work in all areas of the plant as needed
