Blending Operator
About The Position
The Blending Operator is responsible for the blending of powders and liquids in the mixing department. The individual will be blending chemicals with a range of hazard ratings, including irritants, corrosives, and oxidizers, so the ability to follow safety procedures and wear the proper personal protective equipment is extremely important. The individual must maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. The Blending Operator must be able to follow batch sheet instructions and perform associated inventory transactions. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, eager to learn, and demonstrate good attention to detail.
Requirements
- Must have good listening and interpersonal communications skills
- Must be able to safely operate a forklift

Responsibilities
- Blending batches of liquids and powders following batch picking sheets
- Ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met
- Work safely with chemicals with varying hazard ratings
- Pulling and organizing materials necessary to produce finished batches
- Performing inventory transactions in the Urnex MRP system to ensure chemicals are allocated properly and inventory is accurate
- Safely operate a forklift to get materials necessary to perform duties
