Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience with chemical blending, batching experience
  • High school degree/GED required
  • Must be proactive, self-starter, able to thrive in a dynamic and lean environment and deal creatively with resource constraint issues and uncertainty
  • Detail oriented with a strong desire to learn and analyze processes to help drive continual improvement
  • Able to communicate well both verbally and written.
  • Must be able to work in hot, humid, and cold environment

Responsibilities

  • Assist production by adding all raw materials by weight and completing the tolling off into the IBC by weight.
  • Communicate raw material levels and inventories as needed.
  • Communicate preventative maintenance and complete minor repairs on blending equipment, pumps, floor cleaners and other general equipment.
  • Responsible for testing and maintaining blending records.
  • Follow all environmental laws and regulations of the plant.
  • Must be able to work with industrial valves, chemical hoses, raw material containers, etc.
  • Clean totes, cleaning of tanks, floors, measurement devices, dishes, and hoses.
  • Consistently meet/exceed shift and area targets of safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Complete paperwork with a high degree of accuracy regarding product changeovers, inventory levels and following batching procedures
  • Complete weekly inventory counts.
  • Loading and / unloading transport trucks as required.
  • Additional duties as assigned to include mowing grass, weed whacking, housekeeping.
