Blending Operator - 2nd Shift (2:15pm start time)
About The Position
How Does YOUR POSITION Help Us Work Toward OUR MISSION? Support mixing team through various tasks as needed on a day-to-day basis. Lift, cut, and dump 50lb bags of product throughout shift to keep the ingredient silos full. Assist mixing operator with cutting and dumping ingredients. Assist in machine washouts and all other cleaning and sanitation procedures as needed. Assist in Formulation department as needed. Learn the mixing operator role function, tasks, and responsibilities. Keep work area clean including all tools needed for the jobs. Learn the mixing operator role function, tasks, and responsibilities. Assist with forklift activities as needed. All other duties as assigned. BASIC EXPECTATIONS OF ALL EMPLOYEES: Help each other learn and grow. Understand and follow all safety and food safety expectations. Demonstrates the ability to work with others, and independently as well as follow directions. Show initiative and willingness to learn. Demonstrate basic comprehension and math skills. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Lift up to 50 lbs. Bending, lifting, standing on a consistent basis during workday. Potentially working in loud, dusty environment
