About The Position

Handshake is looking for skilled BlenderBIM (Bonsai) users to support AI research through flexible, hourly contract work. This is not a traditional job. You'll draw on your hands-on experience with native IFC editing, construction data management, or OpenBIM workflows to evaluate AI-generated content and provide feedback that helps AI better understand BIM tasks and AEC data workflows.
This is an ongoing, project-based opportunity you can take on alongside anything else you have going on.
This is a good fit if you're an experienced BlenderBIM (Bonsai) user who has worked in or around roles like:
BIM Coordinator or BIM Facilitator
VDC Engineer or Digital Delivery Manager
AEC Data Specialist or Digital Twin Specialist
You should have solid experience with one or more of the following:
Native IFC editing or building data management using BlenderBIM (Bonsai)
BIM coordination, construction data workflows, or OpenBIM standards
Annotating or labeling BIM and AEC data assets
Reviewing BIM models for quality, accuracy, or data consistency
You'll use your experience with BlenderBIM (Bonsai) to create tool-related questions and review AI-generated responses for accuracy and relevance to real-world BIM coordination and AEC data workflows.
No prior AI or technical experience is required.

Requirements

• At least 3+ years of hands-on experience with BlenderBIM (Bonsai), whether through professional work or freelance projects
• A working knowledge of IFC, OpenBIM standards, and construction data workflows
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
• The ability to work independently and follow written guidelines
• Must be currently residing in the United States
