About The Position

John W. Stone Oil Distributor, LLC is a leading company in dockside, mid-streaming, and offshore fueling across the Mississippi River and into the Gulf of Mexico. The Blender III position is based at the Houston Mega Lubricants Facility in Houston, Texas, and reports directly to the Production Manager, MEGA. This role is crucial for daily blending operations, inventory management, and the loading/offloading of bulk materials. The Blender III will work closely with the Lead Blender and other departments like the Lab and Warehouse to ensure efficient production and logistics, while also adhering to all safety protocols.

Requirements

At Least 18 Years of Age
Valid Driver's License
Reliable Transportation to and from Work
High School Diploma (or its equivalent)
Forklift experience
Basic computer skills and knowledge of office equipment such as scanners, copiers and phone systems, etc.
At Least Six Months of Heavy Manual-Labor Work Experience

Responsibilities

Operate a forklift
Initiate blending operations each day (turn on boiler fans, air compressor and heat box as needed)
Inventory reports and inventory management, gauge tanks as needed
Check blend orders and shipments to be filled each day
Loading and offloading bulk trucks with raw materials and finished goods
Complete bulk transfers as needed
Work directly with the Lead Blender to initiate, correct, and complete blends
Filling of totes and drums as needed
Working with other departments (Lab, Warehouse, etc.) to streamline production and logistics
Note all special shipping instructions, ensure those instructions are followed
Assist with documenting (written and photo) of incoming and outgoing goods
Able to follow written and verbal instructions
Responsible for blend areas and tank farms
Ensure all safety requirements and precautions are followed and taken
Other duties that may be requested by Director, Supervisor or Executive Management as needed
Crosstrain for the performance of other duties at company's facility
