About The Position

The position involves loading a blender with weighed material and blending products to meet customer specifications. The job requires various duties including requesting materials from the warehouse, inspecting product components, weighing components, recording lot and product codes, cleaning equipment, and reporting food safety or quality issues.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow up and be punctual.
• Ability to communicate and work well with others in a plant environment.
• Ability to successfully multi-task.
• Proficiency in some SAP.

Responsibilities

• Requests materials from warehouse as needed.
• Inspects various product components to assure that correct and acceptable material is being used.
• Weighs product components to customer specifications and loads into blender.
• Records all lot and product code numbers on batch sheets for traceability purposes.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment and blenders to company specifications.
• Completes various forms to record data.
• Reports food safety or food quality issues to an authority who can initiate action.
