About The Position

The Blender / Filler Operator at Henkel is responsible for overseeing the Adhesive Process Operation, ensuring safety and quality in the mixing and handling of chemicals. This role involves coordinating mixing activities, operating equipment, and managing inventory, contributing to the production of adhesives and sealants.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (HSD) or GED required.
• Must pass a pulmonary function test and be clean shaven for secure fit of a respirator.
• Minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in chemical handling preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, if necessary.
• Basic computer experience required, basic MS Excel experience preferred.
• Ability to work 1st shift 7am - 3:30pm, Mon-Fri, with flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Adhesive Process Operation.
• Coordinate mixing activity and processes as directed by the Team Manager.
• Ensure the safety and quality of all associates in the area.
• Perform all aspects of blending chemicals.
• Properly operate all mixers and equipment.
• Transfer finished product from mixers to storage containers.
• Identify problems and make decisions to correct them.
• Manage inventory of raw materials/chemicals and finished goods.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other equipment.
