About The Position

C2O Americas, a leading provider of integrated infrastructure and engineering solutions, is seeking qualified and safety-focused Hydro Blasting Technicians - Level 2 to support operations at the GPX LNG facility in Sabine Pass, Texas. This role is critical to maintaining the integrity, cleanliness, and safe operation of refinery equipment and piping systems. The Hydro Blasting Technician is responsible for performing specialized cleaning of industrial equipment, piping, and surfaces within an LNG refinery using high-pressure and ultra-high-pressure water systems, including a specialized cleaning robot (JettyRobot). This role supports maintenance and operational activities by ensuring critical assets remain free from contaminants, buildup, and residue without damaging sensitive components.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in industrial cleaning, preferably in oil & gas, petrochemical, or LNG facilities
  • Familiarity with LNG refinery environments and hazardous area classifications (Class I Div I/II)
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read and follow P&IDs, work permits, and job safety analysis (JSA) documents
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, working at heights, and working in confined spaces
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and safety-oriented mindset
  • TWIC Required

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with dry ice blasting systems (e.g., Cold Jet, Penguin, or similar) is highly desirable
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Operate high-pressure and ultra-high-pressure water jetting equipment (up to 40,000 PSI) to clean process piping, mechanical systems, vessels, and refinery assets
  • Utilize robotic cleaning systems (JettyRobot) to perform internal pipe and equipment cleaning safely and effectively
  • Perform de-scaling, de-silting, debris removal, and surface preparation activities in accordance with project specifications
  • Strictly follow all refinery safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), hot work permits, confined space entry, and PPE requirements
  • Conduct job safety analyses (JSAs) and participate in pre-job safety meetings
  • Evaluate work sites, identify hazards, communicate with crew members, and prepare work areas to ensure personnel and public safety
  • Assess blockages or contaminants to determine appropriate pressure, nozzles, and cleaning techniques without causing damage
  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs on pumps, hoses, nozzles, JettyRobot systems, and related equipment
  • Assist with containment, handling, transportation, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials removed during cleaning activities
  • Maintain clear communication with supervisors, crew members, and client representatives
  • Complete required documentation, including daily reports, safety checklists, permits, and work records
