Barr is seeking a senior blasting consulting engineer to join our innovative and collaborative team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients’ projects and this growing practice at Barr. Services will include consulting with clients and supporting projects related to blast design, vibration analysis, design and analysis, project management, technical trouble shooting, mine planning, reporting and documentation, and training. This role also involves mentoring and leading other team members while interfacing with clients and multidisciplinary teams. Work location: A hybrid or remote work arrangement may be considered for this position. A hybrid work arrangement refers to splitting time worked between a Barr office and a home office. A remote work arrangement refers to spending the majority of hours in a home office. Travel expectation: up to 40 percent domestic fieldwork, with an average of two days continuous job site presence. Work environment: ability to work in locations that feature rough terrain typical of construction sites with limited accessibility, moving machinery, and other conditions typical of industrial facilities.
