About The Position
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Perform abrasive blasting (sandblasting/shot blasting) to clean and prepare surfaces for coating Apply industrial coatings, paints, and protective finishes using spray equipment Mix coatings and maintain correct ratios per manufacturer requirements Inspect surfaces before and after blasting and coating for quality and compliance Operate and maintain blasting and painting equipment Maintain proper coating thickness (DFT) using inspection tools Follow work instructions, job travelers, and production schedules Maintain clean and organized work areas Complete required documentation and inspection records Complete required documentation and inspection records Other duties as assigned. Help in assembly area prepping and moving parts Assist in weld shop grinding chokes as needed Operate forklift/pallet jack Operate overhead crane Perform other work-related tasks as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- 2 years in a manufacturing environment
