About The Position
TrinityRail Maintenance Services, Inc. is seeking a Blaster for their Cartersville, GA office. This role involves operating hand tools and equipment to prepare interior and exterior product surfaces for coating operations. The Blaster will operate automated blast systems and hand-held grit blast equipment to remove scale, corrosion, paint, and dirt. Key responsibilities include following all safety rules and practices, performing minor repairs, and training lower-level employees. The position may also involve participation in committees or initiatives.
Requirements
- Must be willing to work 1st or 2nd shift with overtime on weekends as scheduled

Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools or equipment to prepare interior and exterior product surfaces for coating operations
- Operate automated blast system and hand held grit ballast equipment to remove scale, corrosion, paint and dirt
- Follow all safety rules and practices

- Perform other duties as assigned
- Proficiently operates automated blast system
- Expertly operates hand-held grit blast equipment
- Makes minor repairs
- Trains lower levels
