About The Position
Position Summary: Position that sandblasts and assist painters with duties in the paint shop Job Description: Operates cleaning equipment and prepares equipment for painting Determines strength and pattern of blast require Assembles primer and places primer with main charge in hole or near object to be blasted Assists with paint compliance logs Verify paint thickness and blast anchor patterns Ability to be certified to drive a forklift Follows all relevant HSE guidelines Promotes and supports safety, production, and a positive attitude Must be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes for the department
Requirements
- Must comply with all OSHA regulations regarding paint safety procedures
- Must be able to work outside in extreme temperatures or in a shop environment
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent or equivalent preferred and/or training
- Minimum one (1) years industrial experience
