About The Position

The basic function of a Blaster/Painter Helper is to assist and support blaster/painters in preparing and painting various marine and industrial materials, structures, and equipment.

Requirements

• 18+ years of age.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must be able to pass a drug-screen.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation.
• Must pass be able pass a fit-for-duty examination.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of experience in blasting/painting, preferably in a marine or industrial environment.
• Any of the following AMPP (Association for Material Protection and Performance) certifications: C7 (Abrasive Blaster), C12 (Spray Application), CAS (Coating Application Specialist).
• TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
• Eligible to enroll in the DISA program.
