The Blast Operator will work in the area of machine blast operations, which is accomplished by forcibly propelling a stream of abrasive material through a nozzle and onto the surface of a component. Blasting is often required to remove surface contaminants to prepare parts for repairs and paint. As a blast operator, you will work alongside experienced team members and gain the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in your career. You will become familiar with various types of blast equipment and blast media such as aluminum oxide, and plastic media.
