Job Summary: Responsible to safely operate blade to spread and level dirt, gravel and stone to grade specifications. Ability to function with Topcon GPS a bonus. Responsible for controlling trucks and where the material will be placed.

Requirements

• General education Grammar and arithmetic GED or High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in equipment maintenance & operation.
• Ability to provide and maintain proper driver's license, medical card and acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Previous GPS operation experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate blade to spread and level dirt, gravel and stone to grade specifications.
• Control trucks and determine where the material will be placed.
• Perform daily equipment walk around and site inspections.
• Assist laborer or roller operator with dumping trucks and keeping load counts.
• Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) and work with difficult people under high stress situations.
• Troubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems (material quality, equipment operation/repair, etc.).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
