Together, we will create a better world through sport. Join us. We are currently recruiting for a Bladder Machine Operator - Level 1 for our Football Factory in Ada, Ohio. The primary function of this position is to operate a set of machines to produce bladders to be used in the manufacturing of footballs.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Computer and HMI knowledge
  • Basic troubleshooting skills
  • Abiltiy to multi-task

Responsibilities

  • Perform and document all required quality checks.
  • Keep necessary clerical records including raw material and finished goods inventory.
  • Separate bladders from unused material.
  • Separate good and defective bladders and place in appropriate totes.
  • Replace polyurethane rolls, stamping, and sealing surfaces as necessary.
  • Change stamping and sealing dies according to production orders.
  • Place unused material in hopper to be recycled or disposed of.
  • Clean plastic off of cutting surface.
  • Operate a forklift or other powered industrial trucks.
  • Ability to operate a hoist.
  • Operate, maintain and troubleshoot ink jet printer.
  • Operate computers and interact with the machines through the HMI.
  • Ability to handle tools and make mechanical adjustments/repairs
  • Ability to communicate and take direction well with fellow co-workers and supervisors.
  • Clean and maintain work area.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

  • Starting payrate is $19.20 per hour with a progression after 6 months to $20.26.
  • Vacation after 90 day probationary period
