About The Position

The BXCI LCS Product Management team supports marketing efforts, drives investor updates and client management, and performs other key strategic functions for the growth and success of the global LCS business. The individual in this role will be based in our New York office, supporting our ETF and Closed End Fund platform.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in investment banking, fixed income, and/or alternative asset management (credit focus preferred; 40 Act Fund experience a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of fixed income/high yield/credit, along with basic understanding of accounting and finance
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint; ability to effectively manipulate data and present information visually
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to write effectively
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to take initiative
  • A desire to work in a global team environment

Responsibilities

  • Preparing monthly marketing materials and creating new content and commentary, including drip content for State Street sales team
  • Overseeing road show coordination and meeting schedule to ensure high quality, frequent meetings
  • Leading diligence discussions with third party distribution platforms, OCIO, and research teams on behalf of BXCI
  • Attending investor calls alongside portfolio management team and coordinating follow ups
  • Assisting in the preparation of webinar scripts and slide content including speaker preparation and BX compliance review in accordance with Blackstone's public speaking policy
  • Fielding all client inbound queries including the compilation of responses and compliance review and approval
  • Coordinating with relationship managers on client engagements with existing BXCI clients; referring leads from SSGA introductions as appropriate
  • Helping manage SPDR ETF board and CEF board relationship
  • Acting as day-to-day contact for State Street in their capacity as Adviser for both SRLN and HYBL
  • Providing other business support and helping with strategic initiatives, including new product development
  • Maintaining close collaboration with portfolio managers and other internal partners throughout Blackstone to strengthen existing client relationships and drive business initiatives forward
