About The Position

Join the excitement at Turning Stone Enterprises! As a Blackjack Dealer, you have the potential to earn over $20 per hour (base pay + tips) with a $1,000 sign-on bonus and affordable housing options. Work at one of our three dynamic locations: Turning Stone Resort Casino, Point Place Casino, or YBR Casino & Sports Book. We're seeking enthusiastic, outgoing individuals with basic math skills. Classes will be held at YBR Casino & Sports Book Chittenango, NY. Completing Dealer School is just the beginning of an exhilarating career in gaming. For over 28 years, Turning Stone Enterprises has been the gold standard in casino dealer-paid training. Please note that tip rates are subject to change and not guaranteed. While enrollment and successful completion of the class are essential steps, they do not guarantee employment. Additionally, class times may vary based on enrollment.

Requirements

• A mathematical ability; counts cards, pays out bets, and makes change.
• The ability to speak, read, and understand the English language; must continuously communicate with a degree of professionalism and accuracy.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• To meet our age requirement of 18 years of age.
• To stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 31 - 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Accurately take guest bets, payout bets, make change for guests, maintain a game pace, and deal cards.
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of gaming policies and procedures.
• Consistently reflect a friendly, positive, and constructive approach to the game, the department, and the company.
• Maintain enthusiasm regardless of pit or game assignment.
