About The Position

BlackArch, a wholly owned subsidiary of Regions Bank, is a Southeast based, middle-market M&A advisory firm whose professionals have closed more than 400 transactions across a broad range of industries, with enterprise values ranging from $50 million to over $1 billion. BlackArch offers a full spectrum of advisory services to financial sponsors, private companies, and diversified corporations, addressing the needs of owner-operators, founders, and shareholders of private companies with specialized services that include M&A advisory, strategic advisory and private capital solutions. The firm has built significant sector knowledge in key industries and has organized select industry practice groups to meet its clients' needs in the areas of: Aerospace & Defense, Automotive Aftermarket, Building Products & Infrastructure, Business Services, Consumer Products & Services, Distribution, Energy & Industrial Services, Food & Beverage, Industrial Products, Life Science & Healthcare. The BlackArch Investment Banker has a primary role of managing the execution of client pitches, engagements and group projects including analysis and reporting. Incumbents are expected to have the Series 79 & 63 licenses or be able to obtain them within three months of employment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable undergraduate college / university, MBA preferred
  • Five (5) years of prior experience in Investment Banking, including strong M&A knowledge and the proven ability to model solutions for clients
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, sales, and communication (written and oral) skills
  • Ability to think strategically

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the generation of ideas and strategies
  • Leads processes required to convert ideas to sales pitches, including due diligence execution and client pitch preparation
  • Supervises junior staff (i.e., Analyst, Interns, and Associates) by assigning and overseeing their day-to-day work
  • Serves in client relationship management roles and assumes certain important business development responsibilities
  • Performs in-depth structuring and analysis
