  • Assist with organizing and executing local and other activations relative to BLACC, Mobilization and Advocacy.
  • Advocate for protecting the 340B program with AHF, local providers, community organizations, and similar personnel.
  • Travel to different areas within target jurisdiction in order to maximize opportunities for constituent engagement.
  • Coordinate in person meetings as relative to job description.
  • Identify opportunities for grassroots involvement and other activations within the respective area to reach potential clients and the larger community.
  • Participate in conference calls with AHF BLACC, Mobilization and Advocacy team members on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Participate and join when applicable existing relative governmental planning bodies for engagement and education on the 340B Drug Discount Program.
  • On a weekly basis, communicate via e-mail to BLACC Mobilization and Advocacy team members on outreach locations and healthcare providers met with and/or contacted and prospective outreach plans for the following week.
  • Submit photos of events when applicable of grassroots activity and educational forums/ gatherings with volunteers, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned relative to the job description.
  • Must be a Second Semester College Freshman or higher at an accredited 4-year college or be enrolled at a community college or have some college credit with equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher, majoring in or exploring the following majors: Political Science, Law, Marketing, Business, Communication, Advertising, Sales, Public Health, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Must commit to the full duration of the program and full-time hours.
  • Must have exceptional computer skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects) or Canva for visual content creation.
  • Experience with platforms like Mailchimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud to design, segment, and deploy email campaigns.
  • Skills in video editing software for creating engaging multimedia content (Optional but beneficial).
  • Hybrid Work Schedule
  • Flexible hours mainly 9am - 5:30pm
  • Availability on Weekends correlating to Activations and Other Community Events
