About The Position

The position involves taking and serving guest orders promptly and according to the service manual. Responsibilities include performing necessary set-up sidework as assigned, answering guest questions about the menu, operating the electronic cash register/P.O.S. system where applicable, checking food before serving to ensure appearance, temperature, and portions are correct, and performing any other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have the ability to communicate in English.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Can communicate well with guests.
• Must be willing to 'pitch-in' and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player.
• Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
• Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Check food before serving it to guest to ascertain that appearance, temperature and portions are correct.
