The Bistro Server is responsible for serving food and beverages to patrons in a dining establishment. This role includes presenting the menu, answering questions, and suggestively selling food and service. The server will write orders, relay them to the kitchen, and ensure timely delivery of food to customers. Additional responsibilities include garnishing dishes, checking IDs for alcohol service, observing diners for additional requests, collecting payments, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
