Location: This position is based at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel & Conference Center in Norwood, MA , supporting the One Bistro Restaurant. The property is owned by Hobbs Brook Real Estate LLC , the real estate division of FM , offering a dynamic hospitality environment with strong organizational support. Why Join Us? Shift Hours Primarily: Thursday – Sunday 4pm to 11pm Flexibility required to work other shifts as needed to support business operations Holidays: This is a 24/7 operation , so holiday coverage is required Christmas Day is the only exception
Requirements
- 1 year of restaurant experience preferred, but not necessary.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Willing to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends, including holidays.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner
- Ascertains their dining/lodging needs, seats guests and manage the seating chart
- Monitors restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow
- Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
- Performs opening and closing duties, as needed
- Taking and maintaining reservations and the guest information database on the Open Table reservation system
- Taking/packaging to go orders
- Assists others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking and other tasks as needed
- Helps fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships
- Cleaning and maintaining all menus
- Write daily specials
