About The Position

The Bistro Coordinator is responsible for independently managing the Grab-and-Go food operation known as the Bistro. Key duties include preparing menu items to established recipe and presentation standards, stocking and displaying products from the main kitchen, and providing excellent customer service. The role also involves handling sales transactions accurately and maintaining a clean, sanitary, and visually appealing Bistro environment.

Requirements

  • Kitchen work – exposure to cold and hot temperatures
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds
  • Bending, walking, and reaching are essential to job function
  • Strong reading, writing, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

  • Independently operate the food operation called the Bistro which is a Grab and Go venue
  • Prepare items for the Bistro according to standards of recipe and presentation
  • Stock items in the Bistro from the main kitchen and to properly display all items
  • Serve customers according to customer service standards and properly account for cash register funds from sales
  • Maintain the Bistro area in a clean and sanitary fashion and assuring the area is orderly and attractively presented
