Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare and cook menu items following Marriott brand recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards. Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies for daily service. Ensure food quality and freshness through proper storage, labeling, and rotation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, equipment, and utensils in compliance with health and safety standards. Follow all sanitation and food-handling procedures according to Marriott and local health codes. Communicate effectively with team members and the Bistro team to ensure timely service during busy periods. Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries while ensuring proper product rotation. Adhere to all Marriott brand standards, policies, and procedures. Support the Bistro team by helping with other duties as needed (such as prepping, cleaning, or assisting at the front counter). Qualifications: Previous cooking experience preferred (hotel, restaurant, or fast-casual environment). Food Handler's Certification (as required by local regulations). Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs. Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and early mornings or evenings. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Working Conditions: Fast-paced kitchen and dining environment. Exposure to heat, cold, and cleaning chemicals. Must adhere to uniform and appearance guidelines per Marriott brand standards.
