About The Position

The PM Bistro Bartender at Courtyard by Marriott Charleston Waterfront is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests by crafting beverages, preparing food, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role emphasizes hospitality and aims to create memorable experiences for guests while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Requirements

• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Ability to prepare and cook food following recipes and presentation standards.
• Experience in cash handling and balancing cash banks.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in bartending or food service industry.
• Knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage preparation.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests and take food and beverage orders.
• Portion, chop, and store fresh ingredients; prepare and cook food following recipes and presentation standards.
• Test food to ensure proper cooking and monitor food quality during preparation.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages during the evening shift.
• Wash and disinfect workstations, tools, and kitchen equipment; maintain cleanliness of food prep and dining areas.
• Balance cash bank at the end of each shift and resolve any discrepancies.
• Assist with busing, cleaning tables, and delivering food to guests.
• Follow company policies, report unsafe work conditions, and complete safety training.
