The Courtyard by Marriott in Traverse City, MI is seeking enthusiastic Bistro Attendants to support dining services at their on-site restaurant, The Bistro! We are seeking candidates for both breakfast service (6:30am-11:00am) and dinner service (4:30-10:30pm). If you are enthusiastic about food and beverage and dedicated to providing exceptional guest service and hospitality, we are excited to hear from you! JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for promoting and ensuring guest satisfaction by delivering prompt, courteous, and quality restaurant/bar services.

Requirements

Excellent communication, both verbal and written
Dependable and customer-focused
Strong time management and problem-solving skills
Satisfactory criminal background screening required

Nice To Haves

Hotel experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

Promote and ensure guest satisfaction through impeccable service
AM service includes barista and coffee bar duties, as well as preparing and presenting food to guests.
PM service includes tending bar, mixing drinks, preparing and presenting food to guests.
Money handling
Basic cleaning duties to maintain bistro and kitchen area
Safe food handling
