About The Position

The Courtyard by Marriott in Traverse City, MI is seeking enthusiastic Bistro Attendants to support dining services at their on-site restaurant, The Bistro! We are seeking candidates for both breakfast service (6:30am-11:00am) and dinner service (4:30-10:30pm). If you are enthusiastic about food and beverage and dedicated to providing exceptional guest service and hospitality, we are excited to hear from you!

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for promoting and ensuring guest satisfaction by delivering prompt, courteous, and quality restaurant/bar services.

Requirements

• Excellent communication, both verbal and written
• Dependable and customer-focused
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills
• Satisfactory criminal background screening required
• Ability to verbally communicate, listen, stand for long periods of time, ability to walk, kneel, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Hotel experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Promote and ensure guest satisfaction through impeccable service
• AM service includes barista and coffee bar duties, as well as preparing and presenting food to guests.
• PM service includes tending bar, mixing drinks, preparing and presenting food to guests.
