About The Position
As a Bistro Attendant at Marriott, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will extend beyond just operating espresso machines; you will be the face of our bistro, engaging with customers and providing them with exceptional service. You will be expected to maintain customer relations, communicate extensive product knowledge, and perfect the art of coffee-making. Additionally, you will be responsible for food preparation, which includes cooking using various methods and ingredients. This role requires a blend of culinary skills and customer service expertise, making it essential for you to be adaptable and efficient in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess skills akin to those of a short-order cook, demonstrating the ability to grill, fry, and season foods, as well as make soups and assemble salads. You will be expected to work collaboratively with your team to ensure that all food and beverage offerings meet our high standards of quality and presentation. Your role will also involve maintaining cleanliness and organization in the bistro area, ensuring that all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
