There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.
Make your mark on Jewish student life by joining Boston University Hillel as the IACT Coordinator/Israel Engagement for its IACT Campus Program. IACT (Inspired, Active, Committed, Transformed) is a national Hillel International program that builds on the success of Birthright Israel by providing support and inspiration to students before and after their trip. There has never been a more important time to bring students to Israel, and educate them on the history, land, state, and peoples of Israel. Since Oct. 7, 2023 there has been a surge of anti-Israel sentiment and events at BU, antisemitic activity across college campuses, and the alienation of Zionists and Jews. This position is our specialist in helping people find their love for Israel. The IACT Coordinator will work to invigorate all aspects of Jewish life at Boston University. While this position specializes in immersive experiences on Birthright, each staff member is part of the larger BU Hillel mission and vision. All BU Hillel staff work daily to build vibrant Jewish life across the University with 4,000 Jewish undergraduates. This position reports to the Executive Director and is part of a cohort of other engagement focused staff. This position asks for a 2-year commitment to this position and BU Hillel. You will build one on one relationships with students, plan and execute engaging events and programs around campus, and help inspire students to make a commitment to Jewish life and Israel. This is a big, exciting job for BU Hillel, delivering impact to 4,000 Jewish students, the largest population at a private school in the world. If you're team-oriented, never give up, and truly believe that you must 'be the change you wish to see in the world,' then this is the position for you! Extensive Jewish education is not necessary - just a vibrant love for Israel, Zionism, and helping students build their Israel and Jewish journeys.
