About The Position
PARTY ASSISTANT – SPECIAL EVENTS (PART-TIME) FlipStar Gymnastics Academy | New Lenox, IL Must be 16 years or older HIGH ENERGY. BIG PERSONALITY. We are not just looking for someone to “help with a party.” We are looking for someone who can help create the best birthday a child has ever had. If you thrive in high-energy environments, love being around kids, and are not afraid to lead the fun, keep reading! This role is perfect for individuals with backgrounds in theater, performance, cheer, dance, athletics, or anyone naturally outgoing and confident in front of a group. THE ROLE • Lead and assist birthday parties with high energy and enthusiasm • Create an exciting, safe, and organized environment • Keep kids engaged, moving, and smiling • Interact confidently with parents and guests • Maintain a polished and professional event space You are not standing on the sidelines. You are driving the experience. WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE DIFFERENT • Flexible weekend sign-up system — you choose which Saturdays or Sundays you work • Minimum commitment of two weekend party shifts per month • Consistent Friday Senior Open Gym shifts (7:00pm–9:30pm on select Fridays) WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR • Naturally enthusiastic and outgoing • Comfortable leading groups of children • Confident speaking loudly and clearly • Reliable and responsible • Positive role model with strong character Customer-facing experience is helpful but not required. We will train the right personality. SCHEDULE • Saturdays and/or Sundays (6–8 hour shifts) • Minimum two weekend party shifts per month • Select Fridays for Senior Open Gym (7:00pm–9:30pm)
