About The Position

Position Overview: A summer at Typhoon Texas in the Birthday Department is truly the Best Party Ever! Birthday Hosts warmly greet guests, lead activities, and serve as the ultimate party ambassadors. They ensure the quality of each guest’s experience by delivering exceptional service, attentive listening, and a Texas-friendly attitude. Responsibilities include checking in with the birthday parent and attending guests, preparing and setting up birthday areas, delivering birthday package items, and addressing guest concerns in a professional and positive manner. Throughout the day, assistance is provided with any party-or park-related needs to ensure every guest enjoys an exciting and memorable experience.

Requirements

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
May be required to lift 20–50 lbs.
May be required to work in various weather conditions, including direct sunlight, high temperatures, or rain.
Must be able to multitask and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to communicate in a positive and professional manner and work well with others.
Prior experience working with children preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service to all guests at Typhoon Texas.
Enthusiastically greet birthday parties and escort them to their designated birthday areas.
Assist birthday guests throughout the duration of their party to ensure a fun and memorable experience.
Deliver pre-selected food and beverage items to birthday parties promptly and accurately.
Ensure all reserved birthday areas are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and set up according to procedures.
Prepare birthday materials, such as assembling cups, shirts, wristbands, tickets, and other items as needed.
Maintain birthday and groups storage areas by regularly cleaning, organizing, and inventorying all birthday products.
Verify that birthday party payments have been collected. Notify leadership or management for assistance if needed.
Reset birthday party areas promptly after each group has checked out.
Follow all Pyek Group and Typhoon Texas policies and procedures.
Maintain knowledge of all party packages, attraction and food outlet locations, height restrictions, and general park information.
Proactively identify operational and equipment issues and collaborate with leadership to resolve them when appropriate.
Embody Typhoon Texas’s moment making keys of intentionality, Texas-friendliness, safety, cleanliness, and fun throughout all departments.
Assist with additional responsibilities, roles, departments, or park locations as needed. This includes assisting with the setup and execution of Group Events and In-Park-Entertainment (IPE).
