The birth Registrar identifies and generates reports for all patients who have delivered newborns the previous day. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Massachusetts state-mandated rules and regulations governing the preparation of birth certificates and paternity acknowledgments. Utilize independent judgment in daily decision-making practices. Demonstrates the capacity to provide empathy and to use tact in different interpersonal situations. Prioritize the daily operation of the Birth Registration department in order to provide optimal, timely services to our customers. Give attention to detail and is able to manipulate daily tasks utilizing computer equipment. This is an on-site, part-time opportunity working 24 hours per week on a consistent weekday schedule of Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Birth Registrar plays a visible, people‑focused role, guiding patients through required forms and processes while partnering closely with internal teams to support smooth daily operations.
