About The Position

This position teaches course curriculum in accordance with established policies for the Childbirth Education Program offered by the Department of Health Education. Teaches class to cover all points on established outline, allowing sufficient time for class participation. Cleans teaching area and return supplies and equipment to proper storage area after class. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrates effective communication skills.
  • Certification in Childbirth Education preferred. Individuals who are in the process of completing a Certification in Childbirth Education may apply and teach under supervision.

  • One year teaching experience preferred and/or experience in maternal/child.
