About The Position
The Biotechnology Lab Technician will play a crucial role in the NanoBio Systems Laboratory, which is a multidisciplinary research facility focused on microbiology integrated with microfluidics. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about conducting research in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The lab is involved in various interdisciplinary projects that require close collaboration with other labs specializing in environmental microbiology, microbial pathogenesis, and bioinformatics. The technician will be expected to perform microbiological experiments, work closely with postdoctoral researchers and graduate students, and contribute to the overall research goals of the laboratory. The role demands a strong foundation in microbiology and molecular biology, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. The technician will also be responsible for performing other duties as assigned, which may include assisting in the development of new experimental protocols and contributing to the lab's research publications.
