About The Position

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintains Carbon dioxide Incubator, tissue culture hoods, Millipore filtration systems, microplate readers, HPLC, gel documentation systems, protein purification systems, centrifuges, microscopes, spectrophotometers, electrophoresis systems, Bioprocessors, and pH meters.
2. Develops standard operating procedures for the equipment.
3. Proficiently operates computer-interfaced equipment and troubleshoots when necessary.
4. Demonstrates use of equipment to students.
5. Performs standard tissue culture techniques.
6. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• BS in Biology, Biotechnology, or Cellular and Molecular Biology
• Experience working in a Biological Science Laboratory
• Experience in Biotechnology and Molecular Biology techniques
