About The Position

This dynamic law firm is seeking an experienced Biotech Patent Agent from a top U.S. law firm with a superb biotechnology and life sciences background. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with multiple partners across various offices and work on patent matters other than just Prep & Pros. Firm provides a high level of mentorship and training within a collegial environment. Multiple locations are available.

Requirements

• Ideal candidates will have a Biology -related PhD
• Must be eligible for USPTO admissions
• Superior academic credentials required
• Outstanding writing ability is required
• 3 -6 years of top law firm patent prosecution experience in a broad range of biology applications which may include molecular and cellular biology, Genetics, and/or Immunology.

Responsibilities

• Respond to U.S. office actions with the USPTO
• Conduct prior art and freedom -to -operate searches for patentability and freedom -to -operate analysis
• Draft high -quality U.S. patent applications
• Be an integral member of the team and invest in attorneys with both mentorship and professional growth
